Our Story
The UK Safe Roads story began in 2005, a year marked by road trauma that shaped a lifelong commitment to making our roads safer. Born from the first-hand experience of loss, the organisation was founded on the belief that no family should have to experience preventable tragedy on the road.
That personal connection continues to drive everything we do today. Our mission is built on empathy, education, and evidence, because we know that every safer choice has the power to save a life.
Why We Exist
Every year in the UK, thousands of lives are cut short or changed forever due to road crashes. UK Safe Roads exists to reduce these numbers.
